Doodle Two

Here is my second doodle project. I did a flyer for the Balboa Park Botanical Building. I went to visit Balboa Park for Spring Break and discovered the free botanical garden. I took over a hundred pictures of the flowers in the garden. I wish I could have added more images, but I wanted to keep it simple. I did find the Botanical building image online, my picture I took myself were not as perfect. I used another watermark from my Photoshop brushes. I used Felix Tilting for "Balboa Park", Century Gothic for the Information and the font Porcelain for "Botanical Building". I hope you have time to go visit the Botanical Building at Balboa Park!

Multi Page Project

Hallelujah:) I'm very thankful this project is finished, it was fun but very frustrating and challenging. I would have to agree with Nathan on understanding the use of pages and sections. I had a tough time fitting all the text into this many pages. Once I got the layout figured out, I used the rest of the free time tweaking pictures, objects here and there to get the text to all fit. I started out with the first page text, still undecided on my design for the cover, TOC and back page, until I decided to keep it simple by using the rounded boxes with different types of strokes as my design since it was used for my campus location in all the pages. I played around with the effects making sure that my front cover, TOC and back text was legible. I also used Eurostile as one of my text because I thought it had the same shape as my rounded boxes and frames. As for the pictures, I used half from the ones I took of at the campus and the other half from random pictures I found online. I'm very proud of myself for starting on time and having all the extra days to go back and make changes to it. On to my doodle project!
